The Miami Heat have been mentioned as a potential destination for Curry, who is considered the greatest shooter of all time. However, according to ESPN, Curry has agreed to a one-year, $62.6 million extension with the Warriors, as confirmed by his agent Jeff Austin of Octagon to Adrian Wojnarowski on Thursday. This extension will keep him with Golden State through the 2026-27 season. While signing this extension doesn’t guarantee Curry will stay with the Warriors for his entire career, it seems to signal his intention to remain with the team. It’s rare for legends to spend their whole careers with a single franchise, but it would be fitting for Curry to do so with the team he is most associated with. However, in basketball, anything can happen.
