Latest: Details Of NBA 2K Trailer Starring NBA Great.

Tatum shared with co-hosts Sue Bird, Tommy Alter, and fellow NBA 2K25 cover star A’ja Wilson on The Old Man and The Three that he got a bit emotional and teary-eyed when he heard the news. He expressed feeling incredibly fortunate, reflecting on how his childhood dreams and aspirations are coming to fruition now.

Although NBA 2K25 won’t be available for pre-order or release until September 6, fans can get a glimpse of the game through its official trailer. The trailer features Tatum, A’ja Wilson, and Dawn Staley, the four-time Naismith Coach of the Year who has guided South Carolina’s women’s basketball team to three NCAA Division I titles, starting with Wilson’s leadership in 2017.

On Tuesday afternoon, Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum partnered with 2K Sports to support his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. Tatum and Ronnie Singh (Ronnie2K) hosted an event at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater St. Louis, where they revealed a newly renovated basketball gym. The children in the bleachers were thrilled when Tatum made an unexpected visit to his former neighborhood.

Tatum expressed that achieving such a feat felt incredible.

“I first dunked a ball in a game on this hoop back in seventh or eighth grade,” he shared with “The St. Louis Post-Dispatch.” “Giving back has always been important to me. I had visions and ideas about it when I was younger, though I didn’t know exactly what it would look like. Now that I’m in a position to influence the places where I used to play, I can work to improve them.”

Since being drafted by the Celtics in 2017, JT has been dedicated to community service. He established the Jayson Tatum Foundation to “positively impact and inspire children, teens, and their families through education, athletics, and support, encouraging them to pursue their dreams and aspirations.”

The NBA Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist is also set to appear on the cover of NBA 2K25, launching next month. He becomes only the third Celtics champion to be featured on the cover, following Kevin Garnett (NBA 2K9) and Larry Bird (NBA 2K12).
