Latest Transfer: Buffalo Bills Lands Another Sensational Play Maker.

As NFL teams push through the preseason and approach the regular season, injuries often start to mount. The Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills are among the teams dealing with significant injury issues. This situation is creating opportunities for lesser-known players to step up, including a former Oregon quarterback.

On Monday, the Buffalo Bills signed Anthony Brown.

Brown, who previously played for the Baltimore Ravens, saw limited action in 2022, appearing in just two games when Lamar Jackson was injured. He struggled in a late-season game against the Bengals, throwing two interceptions. Now, he’s expected to compete for a spot on the Bills’ roster, likely as a backup.

With Josh Allen’s backup, Mitchell Trubisky, sidelined by a knee injury and Allen not scheduled to play this week, the Bills have added Brown to their quarterback lineup. Alongside Ben DiNucci, Brown will have a chance to showcase his skills. During his time at Oregon in 2021, Brown had a successful season, finishing with a 10-4 record, nearly 3,000 passing yards, and over 600 rushing yards.

Brown has had a somewhat nomadic NFL career, with previous stints in Baltimore and Las Vegas before being waived by the Raiders in mid-August. This will be his third team, and he hopes to secure a spot on a roster that features elite quarterback Josh Allen.Ex-Laker Anthony Brown Agrees To International Deal - Hoops WireThe Bills are set to play their final preseason game against the Carolina Panthers on Saturday, Aug. 24, at 10 a.m. PT.
