Rangers suffered an unexpected 3-2 loss against Ross County on Sunday, prompting former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore to openly display his allegiance to Celtic. Known for his support of the Hoops, Collymore appeared to taunt Rangers fans on social media following their surprising Premiership defeat. He promptly shared one of Celtic’s popular anthems, ‘Live It Up’, on his Twitter account, subtly jabbing at Philippe Clement’s side. Celtic supporters quickly caught onto Collymore’s jab, expressing approval and admiration for his trolling. 
The manner of Rangers’ defeat left Sky Sports pundit and former Ibrox hero Kris Boyd visibly frustrated as he criticized their failure to respond to the “warning signs” displayed by Ross County in the first half.
Boyd emphasized the importance of winning games in a title race and criticized Rangers’ lack of belief and inability to match the intensity of Ross County. He highlighted moments in the match where Rangers failed to react, particularly on the equalizer, and dismissed the notion that an early setback could ignite a team’s performance, calling it a myth. Boyd emphasized that Rangers needed to improve their performance in the second half despite any early lead they might have had.
