Doc Rivers, coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, has expressed admiration for the Miami Heat’s knack for discovering hidden talents, citing their recent acquisitions of Nikola Jovic and Jaime Jaquez in the last two drafts.
The Miami Heat’s savvy drafting strategy has turned heads in the NBA, with their recent success stories stemming from seemingly modest picks. Despite being selected at No. 27 and No. 18 in the past two drafts due to their commendable track record, the Heat have astounded many by uncovering gems like Nikola Jovic and Jaime Jaquez.
Both Jovic and Jaquez have swiftly integrated themselves into the Heat’s lineup, making significant contributions right from the start. Their rapid impact, especially considering their relatively low draft positions, has left even seasoned coaches like Doc Rivers of the Milwaukee Bucks in awe.
