Unbelievable – Newcastle United Star announces 43 contracts extensions.

Newcastle United has ensured the future of one of their most promising talents by signing him to a long-term contract at the club.

Lewis Miley has shared insights into his experience in the Newcastle United first-team following his impressive performances, which led to him securing a new long-term contract with his childhood club. Despite his standout displays during pre-season, Miley initially found himself on the periphery of the first-team squad as the club aimed to manage his integration carefully and avoid rushing him into regular first-team action.

Nevertheless, injuries to several key players and Sandro Tonali’s suspension from football compelled Eddie Howe to rely on the teenager. Since his first league start against Bournemouth in November, Miley has become a consistent fixture in the starting lineup under Howe’s management.

As previously mentioned, Miley recently inked a fresh contract with the club at the conclusion of last month. Taking to Instagram, the 17-year-old shared a video reflecting on his journey at the club, captioning it: “It’s about how far I’ve still got to go. It’s been an unbelievable 6 months, and to cap it off with a new contract is beyond what I could have dreamt of at 17. Looking forward to pushing on for this amazing club.”

With Joelinton sidelined due to injury, Miley is expected to maintain a significant role in the team until the end of the season, even after Joe Willock and Elliot Anderson return to action. Willock is anticipated to be available for selection again shortly, while there is optimism that Anderson’s return won’t be far behind. Anderson, who hasn’t played since the victory against Crystal Palace at St. James’ Park in October due to a back injury, is nearing a comeback.
