Ollie Denham, who previously had a loan spell with Dundee United, has joined Sligo Rovers in the League of Ireland. The 21-year-old, originally from Cardiff City, arrived at Tannadice with high expectations last summer. However, his time at Dundee United was limited to just two appearances, resulting in defeats against the Spartans and Partick Thistle, and he failed to make a positive impression.
After spending six months predominantly as a substitute for Dundee United, Denham’s season-long tenure in Scottish football was shortened. Now, he aims to rejuvenate his career at Sligo Rovers, where he may have the opportunity to play alongside former St. Johnstone center-back John Mahon.
Denham, a tall and promising player, came through the youth ranks at Manchester United and has represented Wales at the under-17 level. He also has eight senior appearances for Cardiff City to his name.
