For the new season, Eminem has a succinct three-word message for the lions.

With a strong 12-5 record in the regular season, the Detroit Lions captured the attention of Michigan residents and gained widespread popularity throughout Middle America as they entered the NFL playoffs. In the NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers, the Lions enjoyed nationwide support as they held a commanding 24-7 halftime lead. However, their fortunes took a turn for the worse, unraveling in the second half and ultimately allowing the Niners to secure a 34-31 victory and advance to the Super Bowl.

Following their impressive 12-5 regular-season performance, the Detroit Lions gained immense popularity in Michigan and Middle America as they entered the NFL playoffs. The nation rallied behind them during the NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers, where they held a 24-7 halftime lead but ultimately succumbed to a 34-31 defeat, allowing the Niners to advance to the Super Bowl.

Renowned rapper Eminem, a prominent Lions fan, expressed visible frustration during the game, even making an obscene gesture toward Niners fans at Levi’s Stadium. Despite the setback, Eminem remains optimistic about the team’s future. On Twitter, he conveyed a three-word message, stating it’s time to “run it back,” as reported by the NFL on ESPN.

Eminem, also known as Marshall Mathers III, expressed gratitude to offensive coordinator Ben Johnson for choosing to stay in Detroit rather than pursue a position with another team. The rapper jokingly mentioned that he had playfully threatened to release a diss track targeting Johnson if he had decided to leave.

Both Johnson and head coach Dan Campbell received acclaim for their roles in revitalizing the Detroit Lions, transforming them from a struggling team into an NFC powerhouse starting in the previous season, where they secured eight wins in their last 10 games. In the current season, the Lions ranked fifth in points scored and third in total yards. Additionally, they led in rushing touchdowns, credited to the dynamic duo of David Montgomery and rookie Jahmyr Gibbs.
