Hull City are reportedly interested in enticing the USA international to the MKM Stadium.
Horvath, 28, spent the previous season on loan at Luton Town, when he helped the club earn promotion to the Premier League.
According to the Telegraph, the Tigers are ‘looking’ into a potential trade for him in order to improve their goalkeeping options.
Hull City linked with Nottingham Forest’s goalkeeper.
It would be surprising to see Hull sign Horvath, especially as HullLive reports that they are close to signing Ivor Pandur from Fortuna Sittard.
Goalkeepers Ryan Allsop and Matt Ingram are already on the roster, as are Timothee Lo-Tutala and David Robson.
Horvath’s contract expires at the end of this season, and he will become a free agent. It is more likely that Liam Rosenior’s team will lunge for him in the summer rather than now.
The Colorado native began with Real Colorado before heading to Europe as a youth to pursue his career. Molde handed him his first professional contract.
He then played 56 times for Tippeligaen before joining Club Brugge.
Horvath spent five years in Belgium and made 64 appearances, winning the Pro League three times.
Nottingham Forest then recruited him to England in 2021, and he has spent the last two and a half seasons on the City Ground’s roster.
Luton came calling for him in the summer of 2022, and he played 51 games for the Hatters last season as they won the play-offs. However, after his time at Kenilworth Road, he returned to his parent club.
