The Celtics may be shorthanded when they meet the Spurs at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, as three starters are listed on the injury report. Derrick White (left ankle sprain), Kristaps Porzingis (right knee irritation), and Jrue Holiday (right elbow injury) are all considered questionable.

On a good note, Jaylen Brown is no longer on the injury report after missing Monday’s win over the Raptors due to right knee hyperextension. Brown was initially listed as questionable on the injury report heading into Monday before being downgraded to out. However, the fact that he is no longer mentioned is a good omen for him.

Victor Wembanyama, the No. 1 choice, will play in Boston for the first time ever. The C’s had already seen him in San Antonio, and while they won in a landslide, Wembanyama demonstrated his supernatural abilities. The Spurs have a 7-32 record this season and are looking to upset the Celtics.

The Celtics have yet to lose at home this season, with a 19-0 record at the Garden, the franchise’s best record to begin a season. Even when Wembanyama and the Spurs leave, Boston will have a tremendous week. The reigning champion Denver Nuggets will play at the Garden on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
