Fulham’s final decision on 28-year goal man has been revealed..

According to Florian Plettenberg, Joao Palhinha and his agency have been advised that he would not be able to transfer this winter.

Palhinha is allegedly disappointed because he planned to join Bayern Munich this season. However, following their failure to secure a deal in the summer, it appears that they will not resume their move this month.

In a roundabout manner, this may be excellent for Arsenal. The Gunners are apparently interested in Palhinha, although they have little chance of competing for the deal this month.

Palhinha is now expected to stay with Fulham until the end of the season, and the Gunners may have a better chance of completing the transfer by then.

The Telegraph, Evening Standard, and Football.London reported in December that many English teams were tracking Palhinha.

Though none of them expressly mentioned Arsenal, Fabrizio Romano later stated that the Gunners were among the teams that valued the player.

Palhinha has excelled for Fulham, so the Gunners may be willing to ignore his age (28) and lack of top-flight experience.

Bayern were willing to pay roughly £56 million for Palhinha in the summer, but it’s unclear whether Fulham will accept the same fee this summer.

Arsenal will most likely require midfield additions this year, and Palhinha appears to be a good candidate.
