Milan will authorize a loan deal with Monza for Davide Bartesaghi once a new defender is signed in January, according to reports.
According to Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri will not allow any defenders to leave the club this month until at least one new central defender is added to the squad.
Despite the fact that Bartesaghi is a full-back, Theo Hernandez has been forced to play as a centre-back, necessitating the acquisition of players to cover his usual left-back position.
What is apparent is that with fewer defensive injuries and the emergence of Alex Jimenez as a viable option on the sides, Bartesaghi will have less opportunity to play the rest of the season.
That is why Monza is interested in loaning him out for six months, just like they did with Daniel Maldini, who joined them earlier today.
Milan is looking to add at least one central defender, but they missed out on Radu Dragusin, who has chosen to join Tottenham in the Premier League. When a new defender is signed, Bartesaghi may go on loan.
