Insider Says Wolves’ Move For Arsenal Star Would Be “Perfect”

He’s had limited involvement in North London.

Wolves looking for affordable deals.
It has been well documented over the last year or so how much Wolves have had to rearrange things to comply with Financial Fair Play requirements, and they have only just managed to keep their heads over water in that regard thanks to their stunning £140 million fire sale this summer.

Big names like Matheus Nunes, Ruben Neves, Conor Coady, and Nathan Collins were among those sold to balance the books at Molineux, and Gary O’Neil will undoubtedly be keen to avoid any further market agitation as his side continues their quietly impressive Premier League campaign.

Danny Ings, a West Ham United striker who has fallen out of favour at the London Stadium, is thought to be a target for Wolves. He may bring some cunning and experience in attack as a proven goalscorer. With goals hard to come by from their regular number nine alternatives, the Old Gold appear to be looking to add an out-and-out centre-forward and a player on the flank in January.

Now, journalist Jones has thrown some light on a player he believes Wolves could consider, who would also qualify as a loan signing.

Dean Jones drops Reiss Nelson for Wolves verdict.
According to CBS Sports, Wolves and Sevilla are both interested in signing Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson on loan in January after his few appearances at the Emirates Stadium this season.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Jones has now stated that Wolves may explore bringing the former England Under-21 international to Molineux, calling it an ideal fit: “Obviously, he’s struggling to make himself a regular part of Arsenal’s starting XI and that’s fine, but a club like Wolves would be perfect for him in order to get more game time and make an impact more regularly.”

He went on to say, “I believe the fan base would really want a player like Reiss Nelson, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they looked into the loan deal’s possibility. But, again, why would Arsenal want to loan out a guy who they may need to call on from the bench this season? “It is a difficult conversation to have.”

Despite his evident skill, Nelson has struggled to establish himself as a regular in Mikel Arteta’s side, and Wolves could be a perfect place for him to start the 2023/24 season.
