Amid interest from Fulham, the 25-year-old sensation is prepared for the next phase.

In response to interest from Premier League and Bundesliga teams, AZ Alkmaar striker Vangelis Pavlidis informed De Telegraaf that he is prepared for the next phase of his career.

The Greek forward has been linked to transfers to Fulham and Borussia Monchengladbach in recent weeks.

In response to the attention, Pavlidis asked De Telegraaf, “Are there things going on? I would rather keep that to myself these days; therefore, I don’t discuss it.

I am obviously prepared to move further, both technically and physically. Naturally, the winter transfer window differs from the summer one. In a few aspects, it is more challenging. I’m not sure if this is the appropriate moment because of this.

“Everyone knows that I wanted to take the next step last summer,” said Pavlidis, who could have transferred in the summer but was unable to find a suitable replacement. Ultimately, the timing was off, as there wasn’t a suitable club available. I’m thrilled to be in Arizona.

In the event that a trade does not happen this month, Pavlidis, who is presently tied for the league lead in scoring in the Eredivisie, is content to stay in Alkmaar. “I want to keep scoring goals, providing assists, and contributing to winning games, so if nothing changes, I’ll just keep doing what I did in the first half of the season. I’m driven to score the most points possible in order to play for AZ in the Champions League and to win the cup.
