Star player says he wants to quit Leeds United right away. For Whites to approve, a “fair offer” is required…

Wilfried Gnonto of Leeds United was eager to leave in the summer, but the Championship team wouldn’t let him go.

This season, Daniel Farke has mostly utilized the 20-year-old as a substitute. In 19 games—six of which were league starts—he has managed a goal and an assist.

The winger “wants to leave” Leeds when the transfer window reopens the following week, according to Il Romanista.

The Italy international is well-liked in his native nation, where a number of teams are monitoring his circumstances. Lazio, Fiorentina, and Inter Milan are among them.

Lazio and Fiorentina are currently the top contenders to sign the Leeds midfielder, with Inter keeping a close eye on him. The Serie A pair may try to sign Gnonto in January as they are in need of a winger.
It is clarified that in the event of a “fair offer,” the Whites may approve his selling.

Although Gnonto is presently valued at €15 million, the source notes that a transaction for roughly €10 million might yet be reached.

The source claims that the winter market might be the “right time” for Gnonto to leave the English team because both the player and Leeds are open to trades.
