Breaking News: Jalen Hurts discusses A.J. Brown’s Disappointment Following Victory
QB Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles discussed A.J. Brown’s seeming dissatisfaction after the team’s victory on Christmas Day.
Even though the Philadelphia Eagles ended a three-game losing streak in Week 16 and it’s the holidays, there’s still a noticeable sense of dissatisfaction in the locker room right now.
Wide receiver A.J. Brown was one player who was obviously not happy with Monday’s triumph; he refused to talk to the media since he had nothing flattering to say.
As this team attempts to address some of its issues, close buddy and quarterback Jalen Hurts was questioned on Wednesday on Brown’s present state of mind.
Hurts said to the reporters that he didn’t fully understand Brown’s frustration following the victory over the New York Giants. It could have contributed to his silence as the quarterback mentioned the star wide out has a “standard,” both for himself and the players in the locker room.
\As his followers are aware, Brown doesn’t tolerate bad behavior. He’s not afraid to stand up to anyone on the team, as evidenced by the impassioned sideline conversation he and Hurts had earlier in the season.
If the top wide receiver was dissatisfied with Philadelphia’s performance in Week 16, it would not be shocking. When the Eagles let the inferior Giants back into the game, what should have been an easy blowout became a real upset threat.
Even while the gifted wide receiver isn’t discussing the matter in public, maybe he is privately resolving his issues with the other players. Brown should limit his comments to those who are directly engaged, since this squad doesn’t need any turmoil making headlines at the moment.
With the victory over New York, hopefully Hurts, Brown, and the coaches can continue to build on their great momentum. As this team battles for the NFC’s top seed in the final run, everyone has to be in sync.
