“We performed far better in the second half than we did in the first.

“We could have scored the winning goal on a different day, but I have to commend the team for their response.” That truly made me happy.

“We demonstrated in the second half that we have the self-assurance to go out and score the goals we did, demonstrating the team’s strong belief in one another.” They have faith in one another.

Alexander was overjoyed at the way the Bantams fans stuck by their team through the entire match, even in the first forty-five minutes when things weren’t going their way. He was happy that in the second half, City delivered their fans a performance they deserved.

Anticipating the Bantams’ Friday night game against league leaders Stockport County at University of Bradford Stadium, he says the team that makes the greatest sacrifices will emerge victorious over a hectic holiday weekend.

Alexander continued, “(The fans) were massive for us today.”

“Throughout our most recent run, the team has strengthened that belief among the supporters. They witness a dedicated team, and they greatly aided during the second half.

“In the second half, we gave them what they deserved and they supported us and were patient with us.”

“We gave them a respectable, wholehearted performance. The roof would have fallen in if we could have picked a winner.

With every game, the participants get to know one another better and their reactions to various situations.

“During this hectic time, the team with the greatest commitment and willingness to sacrifice will win the most points.

It is imperative that we take care of ourselves before Friday. We will have the best chance of winning if we do that.
