The “Cifuentes effect” is being observed in Spain at QPR – Coach has already ‘revitalised’ the club..

Queens Park Rangers have already been “revitalized” by Martí Cifuentes, and the “Cifuentes effect” is already evident to all.

Marca, who has reported on the Spanish coach’s stellar debut at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium, claims that.

The newspaper describes how QPR, a “legendary” club, is experiencing hope thanks to the “Cifuentes effect,” as the Spanish coach has revitalized the Championship team since taking over.

They describe how Cifuentes’ team has won three, drawn two, and lost just one of their last six games to amass 11 points—three more than they had in the 14 games prior to his appointment.
His impact on the team “is evident,” as evidenced by additional statistics, as he has scored nine goals in six games as opposed to just ten in the 14 previous and one of those wins ended a streak of 12 without one.
That was the turning point, and they haven’t looked back since. With the recent wins over Stoke, Preston, and Hull, it’s also the first time they’ve won three in a row since October 2022.

The strong start means Cifuentes is also, statistically at least, the best QPR coach since 2008/09, with no other manager since then managing his tally of 11 points in their first six games.

Now, this was written before the clash with Plymouth, which ended in a 0-0 draw, another solid result for Cifuentes and QPR that moved them within a point of Huddersfield and Millwall in the 21st and 20th, respectively.

All eyes are now firmly on moving up the table and away from relegation trouble, thanks to the ‘Cifuentes effect’, which has been so pronounced it’s being picked up in the Spanish media too.
