JUST IN: ‘Fearlessness’: Journalist Praises Sheffield Wednesday Star For ‘Causing Carnage’ Against Norwich
Bailey Cadamarteri has been praised for his display during Sheffield Wednesday’s defeat to Norwich City.

The striker has enjoyed an excellent week, signing a new deal with the Owls before going onto net his second goal for the club last night.

Bailey Cadamarteri has really impressed since he was brought into the team by Danny Rohl. The teenager made his first start for the club against Leicester City, before scoring his first goal just days later against Blackburn Rovers.

Cadamarteri then doubled his goal tally with his equaliser on the half hour mark at Carrow Road. It proved to be his only shot before he was taken off in the second half, however Joe Crann was impressed as he caused ‘carnage’ against the Canaries.

Crann gave Cadamarteri a 6 rating in The Star, but had plenty of positives to say of the youngster.

He wrote: “Belted about causing carnage in the press in the first half. Took his second senior goal excellently, timing it well and showing fearlessness. Mouthful of blood for the trouble, too. Influence faded and he was taken off with 15 to go.”

How far does Bailey Cadamarteri have to go?
Bailey Cadamarteri is clearly a hard worker and is prepared to run around a lot, which definitely helped Sheffield Wednesday last night.

The forward managed to complete only two passes and lost possession on nine occasions, but fans will take an average performance if it still means he puts the ball in the back of the net.

Cadamarteri only has six Championship appearances to his name, so there is no expectation that he is going to smash it out the park every week.

The attacker is coming along very nicely and Danny Rohl seems to be the perfect figure to help him develop and grow.

There is clearly a lot of raw potential there and hopefully we will see plenty of progression by the end of the season. For now, it would be great if he could learn from the other more experienced strikers and not have to be completely relied upon every game.
