Aston Villa manager Carla Ward says the club is looking for an emergency loan goalkeeper because two of their shot-stoppers are injured.
Daphne van Domselaar, the team’s first-choice goalkeeper, has suffered a concussion, and Sophia Poor is recovering from a long-term injury.
On Sunday, 18:45 GMT, Villa will face Brighton in the Women’s Super League.
“I won’t tell you who that is yet but we should have that [emergency loan] by tomorrow,” Ward said in a statement on Friday.
“In a nasty collision [against Manchester City on Saturday], Daph took a hit to the head.” She battled a little after the game and will be out with concussion.”
Villa, who are 10th in the WSL after two wins in nine games, still have keeper Anna Leat available.
