Left back Ruben Vinagre has not played for Hull City since November 11
Ruben Vinagre is in contention to play in Hull City’s televised match against Middlesbrough this week. After recovering from a hamstring injury, the defender has returned to full training.
Vinagre has missed the Tigers’ last four Championship games. On November 11, he appeared in City’s 1-0 win over Huddersfield Town.
“Ruben will be back with the squad,” head coach Liam Rosenior said at his pre-match press conference. He has completed his clearance sessions.

“It’s wonderful to have him back in and around it. I need to make a decision on whether he will start on Wednesday.”
Rosenior has also confirmed Alfie Jones is available for selection again. The talented centre-back missed Saturday’s loss away to Queens Park Rangers following the birth of his first child.
It remains unclear how long star man Jaden Philogene will be out of action for following the knee injury he sustained at Loftus Road. “We have not had the results of scan back yet,” said Rosenior. “He’s out for Wednesday.”
Both Philogene and Jason Lokilo (hamstring) will miss the trip to the Riverside. England Under-21 international Philogene has contributed six goals in 14 league matches since arriving from Aston Villa but Rosenior is confident the Tigers will cope without the skilful attacker.
“Football is more than just one person,” Rosenior told Hull Live. “I love this group and I am super confident in them.
“We signed Jaden on the last day of the transfer window. He has made an amazing impression here in terms of what he has done so far but we were winning games before he came in.
“We go to Middlesbrough missing a very, very good player but, at the same time we have got a very good squad here.”
Rosenior said City have no fresh injury concerns to contend with going into Wednesday’s clash, which will be screened live on Sky Sports. A run of one victory from four matches has seen the Tigers fall out of the play-offs.
