Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has reacted to Sunderland’s decision to sack Tony Mowbray as manager.

So, how has Amad Dillo reacted to Sunderland sacking Tony Mowbray? Let’s take a look.

Amad Diallo reacts to Sunderland sacking Tony Mowbray

Well, Sunderland have parted company with their manager, Tony Mowbray. The Black Cats made the announcement late on Monday evening.

Mowbray was appointed Sunderland manager in the summer of 2022. The Black Cats finished in the championship playoff spots last season.

Sunderland are ninth in the championship table at the moment. They have picked up 27 points from 19 matches and are only three points off the playoff spots.

As you can see, Amad Diallo, a player Tim Sherwood rates highly, has sent a message to Mowbray on X. The 21-year-old was on loan at Sunderland from Manchester United last season.

During his loan spell at the Stadium of Light, the winger, who was linked with Everton in the summer of 2023, made 29 starts and 10 substitute appearances in the Championship. Diallo scored 14 goals and gave up three assists in those games.

Sunderland could still have a successful season

According to The Telegraph, there were issues between Tony Mowbray and the Sunderland hierarchy. Internal disagreements and recent poor results seem to have cost him his managerial job.

Sunderland is still in a very good position to make it a success this season. I do not think that the Black Cats will be able to finish in the top two of the championship table this season, but they can certainly make the playoffs.

The Black Cats do have a good team. If Sunderland gets a manager who knows the championship and has experience getting teams promoted, then they could have a very successful season.
