Latest Nottingham Forest news from NottinghamshireLive includes an update on linked midfielder Gabriel Moscardo
Gabriel Moscardo, a player connected to Nottingham Forest, is reportedly on Chelsea’s roster at Corinthians.
The 18-year-old was connected to a number of European teams, such as Chelsea, Everton, Barcelona, and Forest. But it looks like the Blues have jumped ahead in the competition and worked out a deal with Corinthians.
Brazilian publication Band claims Chelsea will pay €24 million (£21 million) for Moscardo’s services. On his program Os Donos da Bola, former Corinthians player and current pundit Neto stated: “Moscardo was sold to Chelsea.” I know this, which is why he refrained from playing [against Bahia].
“What does Chelsea play? First Division. The Premier League is run by who? Hello. The Premier League is run by who? Leonardo Bertolucci. This is the knowledge that I possess. It might not be accurate. However, I find it difficult to make errors.”
The midfield player disclosed that Chelsea had inquired during the summer. He said, “I speak with my parents and agent frequently, and they try to provide me with as little information as possible. There was a proposal from Chelsea months ago.
“They assure me that the season is almost over, that I should put in my best effort, and that good things will happen at its conclusion. Of course there’s interest from various clubs; I’ve also heard about it; there was strong interest from Chelsea a few months ago.”
