The West Brom duo is set to resume training the following week, which will be beneficial to Corberan.

John Swift and Josh Maja are scheduled to resume West Brom training the following week.

According to the Birmingham Mail, Josh Maja and John Swift will be returning to training during the international break, giving West Brom a significant boost.

The news organization reports on their website (November 15, 2015) that The Hawthorns’ current aim is for both attackers to return to training in the second week of the break following extended periods of time off due to injury.

Carlos Corberan has to get players back to full health, so it will be a great boost for the Baggies, who have struggled mightily with injuries all season.

“That’s the plan for Maja and Swift to come back in the second week of this break and join in full training as they recover from their ankle and calf injuries, respectively,” they wrote.

“What boosts they’ll be, too, when they return.”
West Brom have been a huge success story this season despite currently sitting just outside the playoff places, especially when you consider the fact of our injury problems.

Maja hasn’t played since September, Swift hasn’t played since October 10th, Daryl Dike and Adam Reach haven’t played yet this season, and Jeremy Sarmiento and Semi Ajayi have also had several injury issues at different times this season.

However, Corberan has always managed to keep the squad winning and competitive, and now that players are getting back to full strength, we will only get stronger and be able to score more points.

Attack has been a weakness this season in terms of fitness, so the return of two important players to those positions can only be advantageous. It’s also great news that there are now more games to be played following the current international break.

Hopefully, the next several weeks will bring more positive news regarding injuries, and the manager will have more time to make selections instead of trying to discover lineups he has to choose.
