Milan is prepared to spend €2–3 million on the January transfer as they continue compiling their list of defensive targets.

At least four names are being watched by AC Milan as they continue to add names to their list of possible defensive targets for the January transfer window and beyond.

One of the more noticeable names on the list is Juan Miranda, the left-back for Real Betis who is the front-runner to replace Theo Hernandez either in January or in the summer on a free transfer, as reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News).

Given the injuries to Pierre Kalulu and Marco Pellegrino, as well as Simon Kjaer’s fitness concerns, at least one center-back is required to cover.

Bournemouth’s Lloyd Kelly seems to be the primary target right now, and he could join in January for a fee of around €5 million.

Genoa’s Radu Dragusin is another option, but he may be harder to sign. In Switzerland, a Dutch youngster named Finn van Breemen is playing for FC Basel, and his name is attracting attention.

According to a rumor, AC Milan is prepared to spend money to acquire Juan Miranda during the January transfer window in order to strengthen their defensive alternatives.

Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News) has stated that the Rossoneri are eager to sign Miranda from Real Betis and will not wait until the summer.

He is out of contract at the end of the current campaign, so if Milan were to recruit him in the summer, it would be on a free transfer.

Milan is willing to spend between €2 and €3 million to acquire the former Barcelona player immediately because there isn’t a strong enough replacement for Theo Hernandez at left back in the team.

If Milan waited until the summer to sign Miranda on a free transfer, there would be a lot more competition for his signature, and there would be a serious risk of missing out on his services.
