Rangers are back in Europa League action this evening as they welcome Sparta Prague to Glasgow.

Two weeks on from drawing 0-0 with the same opponent out in the Czech Republic, Phillipe Clement’s first European match in charge of the side, Gers will be confident of a positive result which would go a long way to sending them through to the next stage.

Three points would send them clear of Sparta in second place and with Aris Limassol to come at home, they’d be favourites to get the job done from there. It won’t be easy as Brian Priske’s side are handy, but shutting them out way from home should give the Light Blues belief.

Clement has spoken of the “puzzle” of managing his squad amid a raft of injuries. For this one, he was definitely without John Souttar and Nicolas Raskin while Scott Wright was a “serious doubt.”
