The latest transfer news sees Championship duo Sunderland and Leeds United linked with a Barnsley wonderkid.
A number of teams have been connected to 17-year-old wonderkid Fabio Jalo before the January transfer market opens, including Sunderland.
Prior to the winter window, Brighton, Everton, and Fulham are reportedly also keeping an eye on the young player, according to the football website TEAMtalk.
According to their report, Sunderland and Championship Leeds United are two more teams expressing a genuine interest in the Barnsley star.
In the summer of 2022, Jalo moved from Portuguese club Benfica to Barnsley at the age of sixteen. Sunderland had previously signed Luis Hemir Semedo from the same club during the previous transfer window.
In August of that year, the player from Lisbon made his Tykes debut, making history as one of Barnsley’s youngest players ever.
