The complete injury list for Huddersfield Town, with projected comeback dates, is provided by Danny Ward and Jack Rudoni.

The Terriers have a growing injury list that has pushed their squad depth past its limits and leaving manager Darren Moore with precious few options to choose from.

The injured list currently stands at seven first-team players, and captain Jonathan Hogg will miss Saturday’s match against Watford due to his fifth yellow card of the year. The Terriers are currently having selection issues in every area.

Although Darren Moore is adamant that no one at Huddersfield Town would use that as an excuse, everyone involved will understandably be eager to have everyone back healthy and ready for Championship play as soon as possible.

UPDATE: FANS RETURNING FOR 2021/22 CAMPAIGN - News - Huddersfield Town

Based on what Moore has given us, below is the current status of each player, as far as we know, including the length of each player’s absence and—most importantly—when they should be ready for selection again.

Pat Jones – Hamstring– Injured since: October international break. The explosive winger has suffered recurrent hamstring problems over the years that have hampered his chances of making a first-team breakthrough and picked up his latest issue while away with Wales under-21s.

Expected return date: Unknown.

David Kasumu – Hamstring– Injured suffered September 20, vs Stoke City. The central midfielder is no stranger to a hamstring injury but had been almost entirely injury-free since suffering a recurrence on his Town debut on the opening day of last season. Word before the international break was that he was not a million miles off, but he is still yet to appear.

Expected return date: Unknown, but said to be unlikely to be available to face Watford.

Josh Koroma – Groin– Injured suffered in training last Friday. The winger was unable to play a part against Leeds United at the weekend but Moore suggested afterwards the injury was not thought to be serious. Expected return date: Possibly this weekend.

Jack Rudoni – Foot – Injured suffered October 17 vs Cardiff City. The midfielder completed the game last Tuesday night after receiving a kick to the foot, but left the John Smith’s Stadium in a protective boot and had to see a specialist. Now set for an extended spell out of action, though just how long that may be is currently unclear to us. Expected return date: Exact date depends on how injury reacts, but ‘weeks’ at least.

Josh Ruffels – Groin– Injured suffered September 20, vs Stoke City. The defender had been playing through the issue before the international break but kept having to go off as it flared up and was put on a full recovery regime. Another who it had hoped might be close to a return before the last international break but yet to appear.

Expected return date: Unknown, but said to be unlikely to be available to face Watford.

Ollie Turton – Knee – Injured since: February 11 vs Wigan Athletic. The right-back had only just returned from a completely unrelated injury when he suffered his heartbreaking season-ender in February and missed the Neil Warnock era altogether as a result. Still a good way off being available yet.

Expected return date: Around the turn of the new year.

Danny Ward – Achilles– Injured kept out since September international break. Similar to Ruffels in that the striker had been playing through the pain before it was decided enough was enough and he was taken out of action. Yet another who was hoped to be close in early October but has remained sidelined

Expected return date: Unknown, but said to be unlikely to be available to face Watford.
