Newcastle suffers a serious injury setback, Eddie Howe is positive that the £28 million star will soon get well.

Lewis Hall should be happy to hear that Eddie Howe will be rotating his Newcastle United squad against Manchester United on Wednesday night.

Since joining the Magpies on loan from Chelsea this summer, the 19-year-old has hardly played for the team. Lewis Hall’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign, after which he will sign a £28 million permanent agreement to join Newcastle.
Although Newcastle has made a large financial investment in the teenager, he hasn’t had much of an effect yet. When the game was already done, he made his debut in the 8-0 triumph against Sheffield United. A few days later, he made his first start in the Carabao Cup victory over Manchester City.

That was a difficult night for Hall. He played multiple positions during what was a grueling first half for Newcastle before being replaced by Anthony Gordon.

But Eddie Howe was happy with what he saw from the teenager and will hopefully give him another start on Wednesday night when the Magpies take on Manchester United.

It will be another chance for Hall to prove his worth and show why Newcastle believes he has so much potential.

Eddie Howe has total confidence in Lewis Hall and his potential
Ahead of the game against Manchester United, Howe has spoken to the media. He was asked about Lewis Hall and spoke glowingly about the boyhood Toon fan.

“He’s a talented player,” he said.

“He can play various positions for us, which in our current position we are going to need. Lewis has been training well.
“He’s been adapting to quite a big change in his life, so for such a young player to move from London and settle in here, I think he’s done it well. The best of him is yet to come, without a doubt.

“When you get an opportunity, you have to take it, and Lewis has done that. His performance against Manchester City was very good; he’s a player we really like.”
It is unclear where he will play for Newcastle against Manchester United
Howe has highlighted Hall’s versatility, and we should see it utilized on Wednesday night.

Hall has been brought in to play left-back, but it would be a surprise to see him used in that role at Old Trafford.

Matt Targett is expected to start at left back; thus, Hall will either play on the left wing or as a member of the midfield three. He is our first option in the lineup that we anticipated.Although it is not ideal for Hall as he continues to settle into Newcastle, Howe values his adaptability greatly with this extremely tight team.

Hall will be anxious to remind the boss that he can be relied upon to play in the Premier League in the upcoming weeks, while he will be ready for his fringe players to show off against Manchester United.
