Regarding negotiations for a contract with George Dobson and Corey Blackett-Taylor, Michael Appleton was unable to provide any updates.
Though they will both be free agents at the end of the season, both have been important players for Charlton Athletic this year.
During the summer transfer window, there was interest in both Dobson and Blackett-Taylor.
Andy Scott, the technical director of Addicks, is in charge of player negotiations.
With five assists, Blackett-Taylor is tied for first place in League One.
When asked if he was aware of any progress with the pair, head coach Appleton told the South London Press, “Nothing other than what you probably know – that they have been offered a contract.”
“That is for Andy and the agents to attempt to resolve. All I can say is that the two boys have excelled in their football and have been excellent.
“It is evident that they entrust their futures to advisors and individuals such as Andy.”
