“Brilliant”: Wolves’ £14 million Star against Newcastle astounded Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer.

Hwang Hee-chan’s goal celebration when it was Wolves vs Newcastle United left both Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker stunned.

At Molineux, the South Korean struck again for Wanderers.
With this strike, he now has six Premier League goals for the year, tying him with Daniel Podence and Ruben Neves, Wolves’ best scorers from the entire previous campaign.

Hwang’s goal at Molineux also tied the record for most goals scored in a row at home. John Richards set it fifty years ago.
Right now, the 27-year-old is in the best shape of his life.

He exudes complete confidence when playing, and each time the ball is in the box, he appears dangerous.

And his latest goal was seriously impressive, and wowed two men who very much knew where the goal was back in their playing days…

Lineker and Shearer praise Hwang Hee-chan for his goal for Wolves against Newcastle
Newcastle legend Shearer admitted that he was getting concerned as the game went on, because of the pace and power of Wolves.
They then played the clip of Hwang’s goal.

Toti Gomes – whom Conor Coady branded ‘sensational’ after the game – did brilliantly well to jink between a couple of players before slipping his teammate in.

Hwang then cleverly cut inside, leaving Dan Burn on the ground, before tucking away at the near post.

It led Shearer to say: “They (Wolves) were becoming a threat. And then Hwang gets his sixth goal now this season, and he sits Dan Burn down. It’s a fantastic finish. The ability, the close control, the balance there to stay up and then of course, the finish.

Lineker chipped in: “Brilliant on that left foot. Fantastic!

Hwang’s best goal for Wolves?

This was such a brilliant goal from Hwang.

It might be the star’s finest goal since joining the team; it costs £14 million. The ability to cut inside and create space was excellent, as was the awareness of Burn trying to block his shot.

The fact that he completed it so fast and with his weak foot only adds to its impressiveness.

This season, Gary O’Neil has emphasized Hwang’s intelligence; this serves as another proof of his intelligence as a player.
