Gillingham interim manager Keith Millen has been told that FA charges for misconduct after an alleged trip at Walsall have been dropped | He can remain in the dugout for League 2 match against Newport County.
Keith Millen, the interim Gillingham manager, will be able to oversee from the sidelines this Saturday after winning his appeal against the misconduct charge against him.
In the Walsall match, he was sent off for what referee Charles Breakspear believed to be a purposeful tackle on home forward Tom Knowles as he attempted to receive a throw-in. Although Millen moved in the direction of the ball, he has maintained that he did not contact the player.
The FA charged him with misconduct and had the disciplinary commission found him guilty, he could have faced a touchline ban and a fine.
