Bristol City prospect Kai Churchley has been recruited by Gloucester City for a one-month loan.
The 18-year-old forward will remain at Ashton Gate until 2025 after agreeing to an extended contract with his parent club in March.
He will now be included in the Tigers’ squad for their away game against Boston United on Saturday after making an impression for the Under-21s.
Churchley was linked to Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur, and Birmingham City before he signed with Bristol City from Bishop’s Cleeve in November 2020.
The former Pittville School student was also placed on trial by Cheltenham Town, but his local team chose not to sign him.
Churchley was an offensive player for the Shurdington Rovers Under-15s before he joined Cleeve.
