CM: Milan intends to make two investments in January; what are the titles and roles?…

AC Milan’s management acknowledges that their squad is not yet complete, and Geoffrey Moncada is already planning the next steps to address the team’s shortcomings.

Recent results have exposed the limitations of the squad, despite it being deeper and of higher quality than the previous season. Moncada, along with Antonio D’Ottavio, has been working systematically and with expertise to build a strong foundation, intending to complete it in the upcoming transfer windows while having a clear plan for the next moves.

One key deficiency in the squad is the absence of a quality alternative to Theo Hernández, which has led to Juan Miranda becoming a priority target. AC Milan aims to outmaneuver competition from Barcelona by making an offer of €3-4 million for the player, whose contract expires at the end of the season. This move is planned for as early as January.

Additionally, the club intends to make an attempt to acquire Jonathan David during the winter transfer market. The Canadian striker is considered an important addition for both the present and the future. However, Lille, his current club, is not entirely convinced about letting him go in the current season.

Considering this, AC Milan is also exploring the possibility of pursuing Mehdi Taremi, as his contract is set to expire. This option is being considered as an alternative to address their attacking needs.
