JUST IN: 23 Year Old Brilliant Star Is Delighted To Be Back For Plymouth Argyle After Injury OutBreak
The former Everton defender returned to action for the Pilgrims in their 0-0 Championship draw away to West Bromwich Albion
Lewis Gibson is ready to kick on and put a short spell on the sidelines behind him after a foot injury which ruled him out of three Championship matches for Plymouth Argyle.
The 23-year-old former Everton defender made a successful return to action in the 0-0 draw away to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, which also marked the comeback of goalkeeper Mike Cooper following an eight-month absence. The Pilgrims limited West Brom to just two shots on target as Cooper, now fully fit after a serious knee injury, and Gibson played their parts in a strong defensive display at The Hawthorns.
Gibson said: “Obviously, it has been a little bit frustrating missing the last three games but I was delighted to be back out there. It was a good point, probably a fair point. We take it and move on.
