Newcastle United has demonstrated a desire to act quickly in the transfer market.
Newcastle are not unduly rigorous when it comes to recruiting players, despite the fact that the PIF era has thus far been characterized by a carefully considered recruitment strategy.
For instance, earlier this summer, it was not believed that Tino Livramento had been specifically sought, but the club acted to sign him when a chance presented itself.
Prior to Newcastle’s move, Lewis Hall had reportedly had already decided to join Crystal Palace.
Sandro Tonali’s future is currently unknown, thus the club may need to respond once more.
Considering moving Ruben Neves to Newcastle
The Daily Telegraph claims that the club has not yet decided whether to pursue Ruben Neves of Al-Hilal.
The Portugal international was said to be leaving Wolves for St James’ Park, but instead agreed to a £300,000-per-week deal with the Saudi Arabian team.
Neves might be the target because the club is rumored to prefer loan deals in January. PIF also owns the Saudi team he is now representing, though funds for a permanent transfer may become available in the future.
