Injury to Jeremey Sarmiento causes extended absence as West Brom suffers setback
After Carlos Corberan revealed that Jeremy Sarmiento has a setback, West Brom has been struck another injury blow.
The on-loan winger, whose Baggies career had been put on hold due to fitness worries, was expected to make a full recovery from his injury during the international break.
Now that Corberan has acknowledged he will at least miss the next three games, the squad is hoping he will be available for the final two before the upcoming international break.
According to Corberan, “No, he won’t be in the team,” Birmingham Live (20 October).
“Our only choice is to perhaps have him available for the next two games before the international break. No, not for the first three games. He might benefit the squad in the final two if he shows up well.
