Bantams provide a pitch update for the Wrexham game as Storm Babet causes district disruption.

Despite the intense rain from Storm Babet, CITY has certified that the Valley Parade pitch is still usable.

Fans worried about tomorrow’s home game against Wrexham being threatened by the excessively wet weather received an update from the club via Twitter.

According to the report, the University of Bradford Stadium field is still usable in front of tomorrow’s visit from Wrexham AFC.

“We will provide further updates as and when they become available to us, including news on any potential pitch inspection – should one be required.”

The club will be keeping their fingers crossed that the advance forecast is right and the constant rain stops around breakfast time tomorrow.

More than 21,000 tickets have been sold for the game against Phil Parkinson’s side as the Bantams look for a fourth consecutive victory under caretaker manager Kevin McDonald.
