Milan is looking for a replacement for the 37-year-old Olivier Giroud. The Serie A leaders have reportedly noticed Zirkzee among others, and they are reportedly keeping an eye on the progress of the Netherlands U21 international.

In the summer of 2022, Bologna acquired Joshua Zirkzee from Bayern Munich in a deal estimated to be worth €8.5 million. For the team that is presently 11th in Serie A, the former Anderlecht forward has been brilliant this season. Zirkzee is currently worth about €20 million.
Zirkzee began his career in the youth academy of ADO Den Haag before transferring to Feyenoord. He was hired by Bayern Munich in 2017, and after moving up the ranks, he eventually earned 17 first-team appearances, making four goals in the process. Before finding his forever home with Bologna, Loan made moves to Parma and Anderlecht. In January, Joshua Zirkzee might move once more if AC Milan makes a move.
