Reading FC are set to lose a wealth of players in 2024 amid administration woes.
It would be an understatement to say that Reading has had financial challenges over the past 18 months as they search for a long-term solution for the club.
The Royals received a winding up notice from the HMRC earlier this summer due to unpaid tax obligations, and things in Berkshire were very gloomy.
The on-field issues pale in comparison as Rubén Sellés’ team attempts to recover from last season’s relegation amid concerns of the club entering administration.
But even though the club is back in the third tier for the first time in twenty years, things have been anything but easy since they received a four-point deduction to further complicate matters.
The new-look squad have struggled to make an instant impact with the Royals in the bottom four, the Reading faithful in desperate need of something to give them hope going forward.
