Joe Worrall, a defender for Nottingham Forest, has had a strong start to the season, disproving many critics and winning a new contract in the process.
The 26-year-old has started five Premier League games so far, but in more recent matches, Murillo, a 21-year-old, has taken his place.
But based on his results this year, he has outperformed William Saliba of Arsenal in a number of crucial categories.
Even though Saliba, who is frequently cited as one of the greatest young defenders in the division, has had a strong start to the season, Worrall is presently ranked higher than the 22-year-old.

Although the Arsenal man has played three more games than the Reds’ club captain, Worrall is currently head of the Frenchman in multiple key areas.

Although the Arsenal defender has more interceptions, Worrall blocks more shots whilst winning a higher percentage of aerial battles.

The 26-year-old has been an exceptional servant to Forest. Despite his tender years, he’s made over 200 appearances for the Reds and always gives his all when he’s called upon.

He’s been a solid player for his boyhood club and despite his recent spell on the sideline, he will 100% give his all when he’s next included in the starting XI.
