Newcastle United ace Bruno Guimaraes sends message to West Ham United star Lucas Paqueta after 2-2 draw
Newcastle United ace Bruno Guimaraes has sent a message to West Ham star Lucas Paqueta after the match between the two clubs.

The Hammers drew 2-2 with the Magpies in their Premier League clash at the London Stadium on Sunday (8 October).

Both players played the entire 90 minutes, with Tomas Soucek and Mohammed Kudus scoring for the hosts and Alexander Isak netting a brace for the visitors.

Following the stalemate, Guimaraes shared a picture of himself and Brazil teammate Paqueta on Instagram with the message: “Always together, I love you brother, happy to see you well.”

Both Guimaraes and Paqueta are top talents, and are hugely important players for their respective clubs. The pair are also important at international level for South American giants Brazil, and will be keen to play together for their country in the years to come.

Paqueta was crucial both defensively and offensively in the 2-2 draw with the Magpies in East London, helping the likes of Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse in the former area and Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio in the latter area.

Guimaraes meanwhile once again played a key role for Eddie Howe, with the midfield maestro involved in plenty of the action at the London Stadium.

It’s a huge season for both players, with Paqueta aiming to help the Hammers compete in the league and the Europa League.

And Guimaraes has a slightly more tricky task with the Magpies currently in the Champions League, although they are not having many issues so far.

In other West Ham news, the Hammers have been handed mixed news in their pursuit of one striker after Florian Plettenberg dropped a £30million update.
