According to talkSPORT, Jarrod Bowen is still yet to commit his long-term future to West Ham and as a result, Newcastle could try to sign him.

David Moyes makes extremely frank Edson Alvarez admission ahead of Freiburg vs West Ham clash

The 26-year-old has been on fire for the Hammers this season, and David Moyes will be absolutely delighted with the manner in which his star man has begun the 2023/24 campaign.

Bowen has five goals and an assist to his name already, and it seems as though he has reached another level entirely this term.

However, that has meant that he is attracting interest from some very big clubs. Liverpool allegedly want to sign the former Hull City ace, and now Newcastle have seemingly joined them in the race for his signature…

West Ham ace a transfer target for Newcastle

The Hammers signed Bowen from Hull City in January 2020 for around £25 million (Transfermarkt).

He has been sensational for us, but it’s a huge concern that he hasn’t yet committed to a new contract.

If the 26-year-old is still yet to sign a new deal in January, I wouldn’t be surprised one little bit if the club decided to cash in on him.

According to talkSPORT, Newcastle are keeping their eye on Bowen amidst the ongoing new contract talks.

The Toon already poached one player from the Hammers – Harrison Ashby last winter. The young right-back left the East London club due to a lack of first-team opportunities.

Bowen is obviously in a very different situation to the 21-year-old though.

There are absolutely no doubts in my mind that the West Ham hierarchy will do absolutely everything in their power to keep Bowen at the London Stadium.

The Hammers will obviously have to make him one of the highest paid players at the club, if not the highest paid player, if we are to do that though.
