OFFICIAL: AC Milan’s Top playmaker signs contract renewal deal until 2026

AC Milan have officially announced that Davide Bartesaghi has renewed his contract with the club, signing his first professional deal.

After the reports circulating in the media over the past few days, the official club website have announced that Bartesaghi has signed his first professional contract, which will run until June 2026.

Bartesaghi is a Primavera graduate who took part in the preseason tour of the United States with the senior side, showing just how highly rated he is by Stefano Pioli and his staff.

It has been a memorable last couple of weeks for the teenager, who made his Serie A debut during the home win against Hellas Verona at San Siro on September 23rd.

He also came off the bench during the 3-1 victory against Cagliari last midweek too. Thus far, he has been playing mostly as a left-back but during the summer friendlies he also slotted in at centre-back.

Being a minor, he is subject to several contractual restrictions, therefore he can only sign a three-year first contract. The extension may be activated on December 29, when he turns 18 years old.

In this first phase of the season, the defender has already made two appearances for Milan. He played against Cagliari in the Unipol Domus after making his debut at San Siro against Hellas Verona.

A new long-term deal is awaiting him as a show of confidence from the management following his receipt of his first few senior minutes.
