Huge Injury Expert: Four Luton Town players ‘ruled out’ of Everton clash, two 50% doubts

The Premier League matchup between Luton Town and Everton on Saturday (30 September) at Goodison Park is expected to be without four of their players.

According to injury expert Ben Dinnery on his website Premier Injuries (28 September), Albert Sambi Lakonga, Dan Potts, Jordan Clark, and Gabriel Osho are all “ruled out” of Saturday’s encounter.

There’s also a 50 per cent chance that former Evertonian Ross Barkey and Thomas Lockyer will miss the game against the Toffees, according to Dinnery.

Confident on another victory

Following some outstanding road wins at Brentford last weekend and now against Aston Villa in the EFL Cup on Wednesday (27 September), Sean Dyche and his Everton players will be quite confident going into Saturday’s encounter at Goodison Park.

After these two victories, it appears that Dyche has finally had his team singing from the same hymn sheet. The Toffees will now face a Luton Town team that has several injured players and is winless in their newly promoted season.

Despite their recent performance—one point from five games, three goals—Rob Edwards’ team cannot be taken for granted. Nevertheless, they will arrive at Goodison Park prepared to play football.

Everton absolutely cannot afford to be even slightly complacent in the Premier League.

Dyche will undoubtedly not permit it, but he will be fielding a strong team for this match, including James Garner and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who have both made significant contributions to some outstanding victories this month.

Both players will enter Saturday’s game as key Toffees players and as two significant components in Everton potentially scoring their third straight victory.
