Report: Man City now want to sign ‘unbelievable’ player from AC Milan

Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing AC Milan youngster Francesco Camarda.

The recent summer transfer window saw numerous young players make moves away from the Manchester club.

Even though the transfer window is now closed, the Citizens have set their sights on adding a young player to their ranks from one of Europe’s top clubs.

According to a recent report from Calcio Mercato, Manchester City are one of the top European clubs, including Borussia Dortmund, that have got their eyes on Camarda.

The report also adds that Milan are working on a professional contract for the 15-year-old who currently has aspirations to make his senior debut for the Italian club.

The striker has six youth appearances for his current club, scoring three goals and delivering one assist.

In fact, Camarda scored two goals and supplied one assist in Milan’s 4-0 win over Newcastle United in the UEFA Youth League, making him the youngest Italian goalscorer in the competition.

On the international stage, the teenager has made 19 appearances across Italy’s U15, U16 and U17 sides, scoring 12 goals in the process.

With all of that in mind, it’s easy to see why Camarda, who talent scout Jacek Kulig described as an “unbelievable talent” on Twitter, has found himself on City’s radar.

Moving forward, it’ll be interesting to see what the future holds for the teenager and whether or not he finds himself making a move to the Etihad Stadium at some point in the future.
