Boston Celtics Confirm Another Signing 26 Year Old Forward And Statement Was Made

The Celtics have added some more depth to the wing spot ahead of the start of training camp next month. A source confirmed to MassLive that the team has signed Lamar Stevens to a deal on Friday as first reported by Shams Charania of Stadium.

 

Boston was one of four teams rumored to have interest in the former Cavs forward. The deal is partially guaranteed according to a source and Stevens is expected to compete for a roster spot during training camp.

Stevens becomes one of four Celtics with non-guaranteed deals entering training camp including Dalano Banton, Svi Mykhailiuk and Luke Kornet. Boston is currently at 15 players on their 15-man roster and have filled all of their two-way slots but still have two more openings on their roster for camp. Forwards: Jayson Tatum, Kristaps Porzingis, Sam Hauser, Jordan Walsh, Oshae Brissett, Lamar Stevens

 

Centers: Al Horford, Robert Williams, Luke Kornet, Neemias Queta (two-way)
