Breaking Bantams 22 year old starlet has been name League Two player of the month
JAKE Young has been named League Two player of the month for August.
The City loanee picked up the prize after a prolific start to his loan spell at League Two rivals Swindon.
Young bagged seven goals in four league games – including four in a devastating 24-minute burst in a 6-0 thumping of Crawley.
The irony of Young’s award will not be lost on City fans with the news that Tyler Smith is a doubt for tomorrow’s televised home clash with Grimsby.
The Bantams are already without last season’s top scorer Andy Cook for several more weeks while Vadaine Oliver also remains out of action.
