Bruno Guimaraes sends message to Newcastle fans after Brighton defeat
After succumbing to a third defeat on the spin Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes has come out on social media to address the situation.
A far cry from his infamous rant on X after being criticised earlier in the season, Bruno Guimaraes has this time taken a more calm approach to the situation facing Newcastle right now.
It was clear to everyone who watched the game last night that Newcastle are well off the pace right now. They’re a shadow of the side that demolished Aston Villa on the opening day of the season.
Bruno Guimaraes has admitted Newcastle need to improve
However, it’s largely the same team that’s played all four games, so what’s going wrong? That’s for Eddie Howe to identify and put right.
Meanwhile the players involved need to take a long, hard look at themselves and ask the difficult questions of themselves.
Bruno Guimaraes has already made a public declaration on X saying: “It’s definitely not our best start! We know we have to improve and we will charge ourselves for that! For the best of @NUFC ever. Time now to regroup and come back focused on our goals! We will be together in all situations.”
Newcastle are just getting their blip out of the way early
The Magpies now have a two-week break to get themselves together and come back fighting when Brentford come to St James’ Park on Saturday 16th September.
Eddie Howe has been in worse situations than this, as have a lot of the Newcastle players and with the Leadership Group consisting of the likes of Jamaal Lascelles there’s those with influence who have guided teams out of similar situations.
