Royal Antwerp have agreed a deal in principle with Milan for Fode Ballo-Toure, but the defender is still holding out for a move to Werder Bremen.
The Rossoneri have been looking for buyers for the 26-year-old Senegalese left back for months now, deciding to cut him from Stefano Pioli’s project.
Antwerp emerged as serious suitors for Ballo-Toure but it’s clear that a deal won’t be easy to complete, something Fulham recently discovered.
As detailed by Calciomercato.com, Milan have agreed a deal in principle with Antwerp for Ballo-Toure and are pushing for the sale, but the player is still holding out for a move to Werder.
He had previously put their offer on hold because he wanted to return to Ligue 1, but no French clubs have presented any concrete proposals, pushing him to reconsider the Bundesliga idea.
Milan have not agreed a deal with Werder yet, despite negotiating for over a month now. The German side have submitted a loan offer with a €4m buy option attached and the Rossoneri are pushing for that to be an obligation to buy clause.
